The Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area expanded in fall 2023 with a new school-based site at J.W. Smith Elementary School, operating as a 21st Century Community Learning Center.
Serving students in grades K-3, this program offers after-school activities coordinated by the Club. This expansion, made possible by a Minnesota Department of Education grant, supports operations at this school-based site for the next three school years. We are thrilled to serve more students and families to fulfill the Club’s mission of academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.
