Holiday Campaign 2021

Dear friend,

This year has been another challenging one for kids, families and communities that rely on the Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area. But when kids have the Club, and the Club has you, tough times can lead to great moments.

That’s certainly the case for three siblings who attend the Club each day.

For the past four years, the Club has been a second home to Zoey, 15, Hailey, 13, and Zander, 11. Their mom Amy led them to a new start in Bemidji, and the Club has been a part of their story almost since the beginning. And this last year, the connection to the Club has become even stronger.

Like a lot of kids, Zander loves playing computer games and spending time online. Hailey & Zoey have their own phones and are on social media. But when they are at the Club, it’s their time to disconnect virtually and connect in person. Zander loves playing in the gym, Hailey can be found in the garden, and Zoey steps up to volunteer with special Club events. However, it’s the connection and mentorship from dedicated Club staff that keep them all coming back.

Now through December 31, your donation to the Club will ensure kids and families can continue building connections with caring Club staff who will help them overcome the toughest times in the year ahead. You can help us meet our goal of $100,000, and the first $40,000 in donations received will be MATCHED thanks to our generous challenge donors.

Together, let’s give kids the moments they need now to make great futures possible.
